Proceeds from the Tower Classic help provide critical resources for children and their families receiving care at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Baltimore’s local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. Since 1998, the Tower Classic has raised over $300,000 for the Children’s Center.
Born 25 weeks premature at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center on September 30, 2016, our Johns Hopkins children ambassadors sisters Elle and Emme (featured above) were both born with brain bleeds. While Elle’s brain bleed healed on its own, Emme’s bleed caused hydrocephalus, resulting in several brain surgeries and other serious health issues. Today, Elle is a joyful little girl who loves to walk, talk, dance and climb. Emme, despite having multiple surgeries at an early age and the odds stacked against her, is making amazing progress. She is able to sit unassisted and loves playing with her twin sister Elle.
Tournament and hole sponsorships are available. We also welcome donations of gift certificates and other items for the tournament raffles and contests. Sponsors and donors will be recognized at the event, in the players’ program, in post-event publicity, and on the TowerCares website. These donations help increase participation in the tournament, and the sponsorships and raffles are a critical part of our fundraising efforts.
