Message from the President

A wounded soldier learning to walk again through the use of equine therapy. A new pair of cozy pajamas for a young child in the hospital. A Veteran in hospice care receiving a final salute as a thank you for his service to our country. These are just a few examples of people in need that have benefited through grants and donations from the TowerCares Foundation.

The Foundation actively supports our local military heroes, Veterans, Department of Defense Civilian Employees, and children in need. We provide scholarships for Maryland Therapeutic Riding’s Equine Services for Heroes program for active military and Veterans wounded in the line of duty. We assist in granting wishes for children with critical illnesses whose parent(s) are active duty, reserve or Veterans. We are honored to provide duffel bags to children in foster care to carry their belongings in a dignified manner.

These are just some of the many ways we are serving our community. We thoroughly research and get to know each organization, making sure donations and grant funds are put to good use.
