Because We Care, TowerCares.

The TowerCares Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, supports today’s children in need as well as the brave men and women who protect our freedom and their families—so that they all may have a brighter future tomorrow. The Foundation gives grants to well-vetted charitable organizations that align with this mission—and gives our neighbors and corporate partners the opportunity to do the same.

If you too are passionate about either of these causes, donate to TowerCares, apply for a grant, or contact us about other ways you can help.

Message from the President

A wounded soldier learning to walk again through the use of equine therapy. A young child enduring grueling treatments to rid her body of disease. A Veteran in hospice care receiving a final salute as a thank you for his service to our country. These are just a few examples of people in need that have benefited through grants and donations from the TowerCares Foundation.

The Foundation actively supports our local military, DoD employees and Veterans. We funded software development for a kiosk in the lobby of the new Resiliency & Education Center at Kuhn Hall as well as several portals on Ft. Meade to help connect transitioning military families, DoD civilians and Veterans with area schools, housing, mental health services and other resources. We were privileged to provide support for the family of a fallen military hero who was stationed at Ft. Meade. We provide scholarships for Maryland Therapeutic Riding’s Equine Services for Heroes program that offers equine therapy for active military and Veterans wounded in the line of duty. To support those in need in our community impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, TowerCares donated $75,000 to area food banks to help restock depleted shelves.

We thoroughly research and get to know each organization, making sure donations and grant funds are put to good use. Becoming a member of TowerCares gives you the opportunity to get involved with these incredible organizations, and others that support our mission.

With over a million dollars donated to worthy causes and charities, we are making a real difference. We realize that none of the work we do would be possible without the generosity of our donors. On behalf of the TowerCares Board of Directors, thank you for partnering with us and we appreciate your continued support.
