Tower Federal Credit Union made a special donation to 11 local food banks through the TowerCares Foundation to restock food pantry shelves and help meet the increased need for meals during the holidays.
To commemorate Veterans Day and honor our nation's Veterans, the TowerCares Foundation has made a special $10,000 donation to the Maryland Center for Veterans' Education and Training, fondly known as MCVET.

Thirty college students studying STEM-related fields each received a $5,000 scholarship from the TowerCares Foundation. More than half of this year's winners have parents who are affiliated with the Department of Defense, or serve in the U.S. Military.
The TowerCares Foundation has provided over $2 million to help military families, Veterans, and children in need. Tower Federal Credit Union members and employees, along with the credit union's Pennies for Change program, were instrumental in helping the Foundation reach the $2 million milestone.
The annual golf tournament, held on June 2 and hosted by the TowerCares Foundation, raised the highest amount in the event's 40-year history, with all proceeds going to help critically ill children and their families receiving care at Johns Hopkins Children's Center, Baltimore's local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
